Two-piston performance

More linear piston operation
Sram looked at every brake on the market, then built a better one. Their calipers move the pads evenly, ensuring longevity and control throughout the life of the brake.

Reach hidden
A fast bike is a light bike, including brakes. To remove grams and protect the "internals", Sram has hidden the reach adjustment. It's still a quick and easy adjustment, but it requires Luse of a tool.

Technologies

Bleeding Edge
The Bleeding Edge technology makes bleeding the brakes quick and easy, the design of the pump and the new bleed hole facilitate the flow of the DOT fluid, at the same time a dedicated bleed adapter (not included) seals the system, minimizing accidental leakage of the fluid and preventing air from entering the braking system.

DirectLink™
The DirectLink design of Sram brake levers offers every biker the sensation of immediate grip of the pads on the disc, ensuring any cyclist maximum control of the braking force in every situation.

DOT 5.1™
Heat is the enemy of any braking system, for this reason the innovations made in the field of heat management turn into new driving sensations. Sram noted that the DOT 5.1 fluid offers a boiling point three times higher than the classic DOT 4 and allows brake performance to be kept constant at all times, without the typical decline in performance due to overheating of the oil and pads.

Expandable Bladder
The design of the new Sram brake levers includes a completely redesigned flexible internal reservoir which allows you to regulate and reduce the drop in performance due to the presence of air bubbles inside the system. The particular shape of the tank allows you to move away Lair from the lever and push the brake fluid exactly where it is needed, thus obtaining a fluid movement of the lever upon release and reliable and constant performance.

Heat Shield
The stainless steel "Heat Shield" drastically reduces the heat exchange between pads and braking system, keeping the system temperature up to 20° lower than a traditional brake, even during the most demanding descents.

MatchMaker

PiggyBack pump
The structure of the pump in the latest Sram models has been designed to guarantee optimal performance and easy use.
The PiggyBack pump offers a simple and safe method of managing the brake fluid, but also allows the same lever to be mounted on both the right and left so as to satisfy the needs of every biker without the need to reverse the brake hoses.

Timing Port Closure
A "Timing Port" is the connection area between the tank and the pumping cylinder, the Timing Port Closure technology allows the system to be isolated and pressurized once pressure is applied to the lever, this allows for incredible braking power and exceptional reliability.
