Technology
Orbit
Orbit technology is a new innovative form of controlling the derailler's movement. Use the silicone fluid as part of an elegant and ultralight damping system. Compared to a standard clutch clutch system, ORBIT technology does not put any additional resistance on the spring of the rear derailler in case of slow or light movement. This means change of march and removal of the easier rear wheel. And while driving, the fluid shock absorber reduces the rebound of the chain. It is solid reliability for both 1x and 2x systems.
Axs
Axs is the new system of integration of SRAM bicycles components that connects electronic components and bicycle software. The SRAM Axs app allows cyclists to see the battery status, change the behavior of the components, customize the controls, receive maintenance reminder and update the firmware.

X-SYNC
The SRAM X-SYNC 1X crowns offer the highest level of performance and durability. The edges of the high sram X-Sync high teeth are grafted in the chain before traditional triangle-shaped teeth. The profile of the sharp and narrow tooth, as well as the rounded blended edges, help to manage a deviated chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-Sync crowns have been designed with grooves to eliminate mud for the internal shirts and rollers of the chain. Designed in Germany, X-Sync rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1X transmission. Do not accept imitations.
Etap
All the technology at the base of our new SRAM Red Etap group, such as wireless change, advanced management of the battery charge and mechatronic technologies, are designed to serve a ultimate purpose: facilitating the most intuitive and coherent change available. This displacement logic is called ETAP. The right lever makes it harder, the left lever makes it easier, both levers move the front derailler. Simple, unmistakable and intuitive.
