LL Valeco is a modern helmet, aerodynamic and perfectly ventilated, with a weight of about 30 grams more than his older brother, L’Ibex of HJC. The 12 helmet ventilation holes will keep their head fresh in any situation, from the spring classics to the hot climbs of the Alps during the summer season. Nuovo Valeco combines various advanced technologies developed for the other models to offer the best possible experience in terms of Security, ventilation, comfort and design. The helmet is also equipped with more classic characteristics such as: adjustable occipital cradle, glasses support, shoulder separator and x-static antibacterial padding. This helmet comes with a bag to protect the helmet when you take it with you.
Tested in the wind gallery
HJC helmets are tested in the laboratory and in "real life" to satisfy the highest quality standards. HJC is one of the very few helmets with its own wind gallery in order to test L'Aerodynamics, ventilation, noise and more. The HJC wind gallery laboratory measures air forces in various driving conditions to improve the performance of the helmet.
Aerodynamic design
Coming from the MotoGP helmet design experience, HJC's designers and engineers have become experts in aerodynamics and ventilation. The Aero helmets, as the word suggests, are more aerodynamic than the traditional racing bike helmet, but with compromised ventilation performance. With HJC helmets, this compromise is very reduced. HJC probably offers the best semi-aerated broadcasting helmet on the market…. Save Watts with HJC helmets!
Venturi Dynamics
In order to obtain maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of the Bernouli principle is applied to HJC aerodynamically improved models. On the move, the speed of the surface flow generally increases as it proceeds towards the back of the helmet. Through pressure differences, L'Cold air with front aspiration is extracted through the rear vent dissipating internal heat and guaranteeing the cyclist optimal ventilation and perfect air flow while driving.
In-Mold construction
In-Mold is a method that consists in welding L’EPS together with the polycarbonate external cap for greater structural resistance. This improves the protection of the cyclist by providing compact reinforcement and giving the product a perfect finish.
Internal reinforcement structure
The helmets are reinforced with an internal structure integrated in the EPS, the frame not only maintains the helmet in a single piece, but makes it even stronger and more resistant to protect the head in the event of a collision.
Advanced ventilation system
A certain amount of air passes through the front air suction conduit, then it circulates inside the helmet and finally leaves the drain. The internal air flow is then improved to cool the head and dissipate the heat.
Ultra light
HJC bicycle helmets are designed with precise measures in order to opt ENVIRONMENT POSSIBLE POSSIBLE. Density, positioning, shapes and materials play an important role in weight optimization.
